Sending your documents

Sorry it's been so long since I posted here - we've been really busy, as you can imagine.
I've had a few people ask whether it's OK to send all the required forms, documents and written work together. As far as we are concerned, it's fine as long as everything arrives by the deadline of 14th November. Please don't forget, if you are sending an A4 envelope, you need to stick on a LARGE letter stamp otherwise your mail will be delayed.
If you enclosed a stamped self-addressed envelope, I will return this to you so that you know everything has been received.

Just 30 hours to go!

Only just over a day to go and already we have nearly 400 applications! But don't panic, your application will be carefully and individually considered by several different people; we don't do any computerised sifting and sorting here in Cambridge. You are a unique individual and your application is unique. Because no two applications are the same, they can only be dealt with by real people. This isn't to say we don't use computers - we couldn't deal with all the admin without them! But when it comes to assessing applications, only human eyes and brains can take in all the information and make judgements taking everything into consideration.
If you have any issues which arise subsequent to completing your application, just email admissions@christs.cam.ac.uk and we can sort it out.

Admissions 2013!

Well, here we are in another admissions round. It hardly seems a year since we were taking applications from the freshers who have arrived this term. It's been great to see them on the Cambridge application journey and finally getting here after more than a year of focussing on their aim.
Now that you have started your journey, I want to wish you all the very best, whatever the outcome. It's a very exciting thing to do, and, if you come to interviews in Cambridge, I hope you will enjoy the experience and find it worthwhile. Most people surprise themselves and find they have a great time. Anyway, that's all a long way off and there are more applications coming in before the closing date!
